This is a work in progress, less than one chapter! Please read the description above for the best experience. All constructive feedback is welcome and I'd love to hear your thoughts, particularly on the following areas;

*grammar
*interest generated from the opening
*characterisation

Feedback on any area is welcome though, especially if there's something glaringly wrong.

If you're from ProjectComment then welcome and THANK-YOU! I don't expect you to read more than two pages worth as is standard but if you do, I'll be thrilled to know it.

To everyone—THANK-YOU FOR READING!

This is really the first time I've ever really enjoyed a sample of an interactive novel. I've read those book novels that let you choose your own story, but your novel is different. Your novel really stands out to me because it is in first-person.

First-person is, to me, the best choice for your novel. It really makes it feel like you're in the story. I really loved the options and different paths you could take. The other feature I loved which made it feel very immersive was the option to put your own name in there. It's like the story was made for me!

Also, I really love the way you write. You don't overwhelm the reader with unnecessary detail and your tone of voice really makes the mood. I was able to imagine what the room looked like and everything else that happened. The concept of demi-gods and gods is everywhere, but I like the turn you put into it.

That being said, I enjoyed this work in progress very much and signed up for the notification when it's completed! I'm really looking forward to reading the finished product.
